Weekend of Words (WOW) for young writers
Calling All Young Writers!
Join The Nature of Words for WOW© - a fun Weekend of Words© with people your age to write and complete a story. You will leave the final session with a bound book containing the group's masterpiece.
Cost: only $25 per student.
- WOW for ages 7-10: July 23 and 24, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. each day
- WOW for ages 11-13: August 20-21, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. each day
The workshops meet in The Nature of Words' new literary arts center in downtown Bend at 224 NW Oregon Avenue - right across the street from the Pine Tavern. The workshop will be guided by an experienced instructor/author who will provide lots of ideas and prompts for making the story great.
