The Nature of Words

Open Mic for Workshop Participants

Show Us What Ya Got!
Sunday, November 9, 2008, 11:00 a.m., Bend Public Library, Wall Street, Bend

Don't hide your best work under a notebook cover. Share it with the world - well, at least a small part of it - at the Sunday morning Open Mic. This opportunity to read your work  -  the closing event and symbolic "passing of the baton" of the weekend - is designed to give The Nature of Words workshop participants a moment to shine.

Look for the sign-up sheets at the information and book table in the hall outside the workshop classrooms at OSU-Cascades Hall. Be sure to reserve your spot on the list and plan to strut your stuff in front of guest authors, friends, community members and other literati.

We'll see you at the Bend Public Library - Brooks Room, 601 NW Wall Street, downtown Bend - on Sunday morning, November 9th, at 11:00 a.m. Grab a cup of coffee and a cookie and give your support to aspiring writers. This event is free and open to the public.
